edted: Sorry about the rant.

Thank you for 7000 views... Well it's almost there. If you manage to catch it, I'll give you something as long as it's within my ability, and know this: I'll try to put effort in whatever it is, success or fail.

Thanks. Radiata one one of those many games that combined a well developed town with a variety of civilians with thier own perps. Not to mention it's pretty funny with a childish charm. Loved the game to death.
:iconletdragon:
You're welcome. Yes, the game got better in its second half but the story was actually the problem with most people. There were a lot of holes in the plot that were never covered towards the end.

But yes, Radiata had a charm I don't see in JRPGs any more. I collected everyone in the Friends book too. Can't say the reward was too rewarding though X3

I drew Nina from the game myself. I should do more. :)

Actully, whole setting in the end made little sense. And no to mention, the official images from the official site revealed some things that could have been developed more on. Like Algendar's Castle and the village of the Light Elves. There was also this one case where the Earth Dragon appeared in his Dwaven form(the dude had a name, and I never seen him appear once in the game).

This is evidence of a game rushed before release. There was alot more untouched content as well. It's like more time was spent developing the essence of Radiata Castle. tri-Ace games after SO3 gave me this feeling for some reason. Even SO4.
:iconletdragon:
I still had some questions about that disease. There was something they left out. As for the dragon, he did show himself as as dwarf in the cutscene, before he revealed himself as the Earth Dragon.

Indeed, I felt like it might have had some issues prior to development. Like maybe they ran out of production time or something before they could get everything in there.

Thanks for the fave btw :)

He did? Geeze I should play the game outside Radiata more since I forget lots of things.

I was reading what was was translated of "Epic of Jack" recently. Lots of portions make more sense, and several plot devices are actually better. Remember that whole "magic stone deal" that was barely explained much? One was given to Jack by that priest and one was stolen from the princess of Radiata by the Void Group to be given to Cross.

In the manga, Cross lead an Anti-Radical group within the castle with plans not to make peace with the Fairies. His intent on the kidnapping was not to steal a the stone(that was left out). Instead he used this to threaten the king to abide by their ideals to use force one the Fairy Creatures if necessary. How Cross killed the Earth Dragon? He killed it with his own strength with a single blow. That was really cool, though I ended up hating that bastard even more XD.

There's also lots of things in there that adds more development for Jack and Ridley. Even Genius, who surprisingly became a favorite of mine. Nina gets some time too.
:iconletdragon:
Yes I know, they never finished scanlating the whole manga though, so I'm left wondering what other changes they made

Yeah, Cross is an ass, no matter how you slice it. I do not like that guy.

Yes, Nina's appearance in the manga made me happy :D
